Life can be a pain in the proverbial arse sometimes, and we all have those ‘things’ that we absolutely must have with us at all times just to make it through the day.
Now, I’m not saying that my list is going to save lives or in-fact be of any use to anyone else at all, but these are the things that are imperative in keep this particular mum going.
This list will of course not include my family, they are the most important, but as they are not ‘things’, they don’t make the list.
1 . My trusty tech – laptop and iPhone (6s+).
2 . My glasses, but only if I want to see.
3 . My water bottle – I am trying to drink the RDA.
4 . Coffee – Does this even need an explanation.
5 . My diary – I have a need to plan, but my memory is shite!
6 . Plants – I feel a real connection to anything green & want to be surrounded by it.
7 . My car – I get cabin fever if I can’t get out at least once a day.
8 . Hair bobbles ( do you still call them that?) I hate my hair in my face.
9 . My hard drive – I am literally terrified that I’ll lose my photo’s.
I feel happier when I am surrounded by my ‘stuff’. I am quite impatient by nature and if I want something done, I want it done yesterday… And yes my husband hates this about me.
I have many other things that are important, but these are a kind of safety net for me and knowing that I have them keeps me ticking along.
